I've got to be honest, when I first heard about this assignment, i wasn't too thrilled. I had never heard of anything like this and was not too sure how the final piece would turn out. When i started the project I began to enjoy it more and more. For this project, we had to pick a season: winter, spring, summer, or fall. Our job was to make a paper cut out of that season and turn it into a lantern. At first my lantern was going to look like a tree, but i decided to turn the tree into a funky, unique pattern and make a cut out of a city skyline. On the bottom of my lantern are some bushes. I am happy about the turn out of my lantern and would love to construct one again!
